Hi there! I'm Kiana Tan, a Vancouver based Illustrator. I'm highly inspired by east Asian aesthetics, bright colours, Satoshi Kon, Toei Animation, and Studio Trigger

I was introduced to the world of 3D modeling in high school. There we had an "animation class" which was more of a general Maya class. I took the class from grade 9 to 12 and used my free time in class to experiment and make my own projects. After completing every single Maya assignment in grade 12 with half a year to spare, my teacher let me learn Mudbox and dip my fingers in learning 3ds Max. From there I decided to enter LaSalle College (formerly the Art Institute of Vancouver) and received a diploma for 3D modeling for animation and games.

Currently I work for Visuals by Impulse as a Illustration artist.
